Heritage Bible Church is a fundamental, independent, Bible Church. The term fundamental means that we believe in ministry based upon the Scriptural precepts and patterns of the entire span of Scripture. This fundamental approach places a strong emphasis on: the inspiration, preservation, and reliability of the Scriptures in the King James text, God's simple plan of salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the preaching and teaching of Bible precepts and principles, and the responsibility of believers to obey God's commands.
Independent refers to the fact that our church is self-governing and is not a member of any convention, association, or fellowship that might usurp the headship of Christ over His local church. Though distinct, we reach out to like-minded brethren with which to fellowship.
The name Bible clearly signifies our affiliation with God's Word and identifies Heritage Bible Church with Biblical distinctives of sound doctrine and conduct.
